The death toll in the state of emergency on the river in Yakutia has risen to seven

“Another body found. In total, seven people died, including three children, ”the Emergencies Ministry said.

It is noted that 11 people, including children, rested on an unauthorized location on the banks of the Lena River near the island of Ponomarev.

During the bathing, the children called for help. Four adults disappeared while trying to save children.

Two children were removed from the water, but could not be saved. The body of another child was discovered later.

Earlier, in the Yakutsk area, two children died while swimming in the Lena River.
