This is stated in a message published on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
During the conversation, Bozhok indicated that the Ukrainian side was surprised at the recent statements by Siyarto, which do not correspond to the recommendations of the Venice Commission and the previous agreements.
“The Ukrainian side fulfilled the recommendations of the Venice Commission and went to the meeting of the Hungarian side regarding the implementation of the law of Ukraine“ On Education ”, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine noted.
In addition, the office added that the law on language took into account the request of the Hungarian side regarding the extension of the transitional period until 2023.
Earlier, the United States called on Hungary to solve problems with Ukraine around the law on education directly through diplomatic channels and to behave more responsibly in this matter.
