Germany, the defending champion, will defend their good in the final of Euro-2019 hopes after knocking down Romania 2-2, the revelation team of the tournament which led 2-1 in the semifinal on Thursday in Bologna.
Two goals on free kicks late in the game have tipped the meeting on the German side and cooled the Romania of Ianis Hagi, son of Gheorghe, famous playmaker passed by Real Madrid and FC Barcelona.
In the Renato-Dall'Ara stadium incubator and its 38 degrees kick-off, the Romanians, superior in the game thanks to their combinations on the ground, led however 2-1 at the break.
But a double of Luca Waldschmidt, top scorer of the tournament with 7 achievements, penalty (51) and a combination free kick (90th) offered the qualification to Germany who weighed the mark with a clear shot - Again free kick by Nadiem Amiri, also author of a doubled (21st and 90 + 4th).
