From Marion Maréchal to Patrick Buisson, supporters of a rupture of the cordon sanitaire between right and extreme right multiply initiatives to build bridges, at the risk of further destabilizing the party The Republicans and the head of the National Rally Marine Le Pen.

A dinner with elected representatives and parliamentarians on Tuesday, a meeting with colleagues from the same party last week and now an invitation to the Medef summer university at the end of August: Marion Maréchal, former RN deputy and niece of Marine Le Pen is once again at the heart of the post-European news, marked by the debacle of the traditional right.

Officially set back from the political scene, the one who advocates a union of rights has been omnipresent since the LR fiasco on May 26 (8.48%) and the victory of her aunt's party (23.34%). And she's not the only one.

"Marion remains one of the incarnations possible" of the union of rights, said one of the singers of this alliance, the former sovereignist Euro-MP Paul-Marie Costeaux, who had proposed in vain to Marion Marshal and polemicist Eric Zemmour to figure on the same list for the European elections.

Ex-president of the Siel micro-identity and support of François Fillon, Mr. Coûteaux has himself joined the Christian Democratic Party of former presidential candidate Jean-Frederic Poisson, for whom this rally is "a strong signal given to the necessary gathering of the French "against" + macro + ".

- "Total waterproofness" -

Patrick Buisson, the former adviser to Nicolas Sarkozy, said for his part Sunday on BFMTV work with Mr. Zemmour to a "national unity". He is looking for a candidate "who would not be from the RN but would have a government agreement with the RN".

As for Eric Zemmour, he told the Parisian that there was "a possibility to gather with the electorate of the RN" on immigration and Islam but he was "candidate for nothing".

"The strategy aims to blow the lock cordon cordon" between the RN and LR, which excludes forging alliances with the RN, says political scientist Jean-Yves Camus.

"But all this remains in the sphere of ideas, what about political parties?" Asks this specialist on the extreme right.

Remains that these offensives have wreaked havoc at LR, already plunged into crisis.

With the dinner gathering Marion Maréchal, who still has his card at the RN and elected LR, "the last red line has been crossed," indignant Agir, the party of former LR "macron-compatible".

The acting president of LR, Jean Leonetti, judged on Thursday "unacceptable" the participation of elected LR at this dinner and asked them to "clarify their position" on their membership of the party, in the name of "total sealing all alliance with the extreme right ".

Three LR parliamentarians of the Val d'Oise (senators Jacqueline Eustache Brinio and Arnaud Bazin, and the deputy Antoine Savignat) "strongly disapproved" the participation in the festivities of the deputy LR of the same department Sébastien Meurant, deeming "any rapprochement with Marion Maréchal -The Pen intrinsically contrary (to) values "of their party.

- "Resilience capacity" -

This dinner "raises questions," admitted another guest, Sebastien Pilard, a member of LR's political bureau, recalling "the line" of his party: "Debates and discussions yes, electoral alliances no".

But the LR may not be the only collateral victim of these exchanges. The leadership of Marine Le Pen, excluded from these initiatives that aim to overcome the low water mark of the RN, may also be undermined.

"The ideas, a part of the thought that is developed by Marion and found in a candidate like François-Xavier Bellamy, that made 8.5% in the European," last week the head of the RN .

Marine Le Pen said she was ready to "talk" with LRs as much as with anti-Macron in view of municipal. And the former minister LR Thierry Mariani, elected MEP on the list of the RN, will revive his movement the Right People to accommodate LR.

But "all these protagonists undermine the resilience of LR" and its large network of local elected officials, who will need the RN less than the center to be re-elected to municipal, recalls Mr. Camus.
