“The European Council welcomes the peaceful transfer of power in Moldova and invites the European Commission and the High Representative to develop a set of concrete measures to support Moldova based on the consistent implementation of reforms in accordance with the Association Agreement,” the text states.
Earlier, European Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy Johannes Hahn and Moldovan Prime Minister Maia Sandu had a telephone conversation. During it, they discussed the further implementation of the Association Agreement of the Republic with the EU.
Moldovan President Igor Dodon, in an interview with Rossiyskaya Gazeta, spoke about the priorities of the new Moldovan government.
