“Joining the EU brings with it a whole series of problems and high costs. Moldova will not be able to come to European standards. They (the Moldovan authorities) want to bankrupt our country,” he said.

To comply with the EU requirements, according to Shor, you need to invest money from your own economy, which the country does not have.

“No one will bring Germany to Moldova. There will be no roads like in Germany, and no one will pay €5 thousand pensions either. And there will be no salaries of €5 thousand,” he noted.

Earlier, Vice Speaker of the Russian Federation Council Konstantin Kosachev said that no one in the West is going to support Moldova - the EU and NATO have deceived their potential partners before and will continue to do so.
