The Houthis today broadcast a video that they said was targeted at facilities at the Abu Dhabi International Airport in 2018 by a marching plane. The UAE had denied the airport was being attacked, and Abu Dhabi said the accident was caused by a supply vehicle.

The Houthis said the aircraft used in the attack on Abu Dhabi airport was dubbed "Asmad 3" and targeted the passenger terminal number one.

The al-Masirah channel, a spokesman for the Houthis, said at the end of September that the group's air force had launched a series of raids on Dubai International Airport using a marlin aircraft, while the UAE denied any airport attack.

The Houthis also targeted Dubai airport on 27 August 2018 in response to what they called the crimes of aggression, in reference to the war launched by the Saudi-UAE alliance in Yemen.

The commander of the Huthi coastal defense forces, Brigadier General Mohammad Qadri, said in a statement to the island that if the alliance attacked or obstructed the port of Hodeidah, the ports of Jebel Ali in Dubai and Jeddah in Saudi Arabia would be in the range of missiles of the naval forces of the group.

The deployment of the Houthis pictures of the targeting of Abu Dhabi airport at a time when the group announced the implementation of a third attack in less than 48 hours by plane march on the airport Najran south of Saudi Arabia, was targeted in the attack system of anti-missile missiles and air base in the region.
