The Director of the Center for the Protection of International Col. Abdullah Al-Khayat said that the Dubai Police is doing all it can to contain young people who have even weak opportunities to treat them and the passage of them from the crisis of addiction, pointing out that their role is not limited to the examination and follow-up and referral to treatment centers and rehabilitation, With the aim of reintegrating them into society either by facilitating their access to certificates of good conduct and conduct or providing them with jobs in coordination with their partners, stressing that these are the most important steps of treatment and rehabilitation.

The General Directorate for Drug Control has had 233 drug users over the past three years and has provided treatment and rehabilitation without legal action.

He pointed out that the periodic examination program studied 618 cases of addicts during the past three years, and provided care after 378 people, and the transfer of 117 cases to the treatment and rehabilitation centers, and the number of beneficiaries of the periodic examination 1153 people.
