According to the deputy, in practice the use of mobile phones in school for non-educational purposes is prohibited.

"Gadgets most often distract children from the learning process, prevent the teacher from teaching a lesson. Just as 25 years ago it was forbidden to play in a lesson with a "rainbow" and "lizunami", today the child is not allowed to be distracted by the phone, "she said.

At the same time, she noted, sometimes a teacher can plan a lesson so that students will need to use mobile devices, but this is not necessary for every lesson. The smartphone, like any other technical device, should be treated sensibly.

According to the deputy, if gadgets create problems in the classroom, then the school can hold an expanded meeting of teachers, children and parents and develop suitable solutions.

Earlier it was reported that the majority of Russians (83%) believe that personal telephones and smartphones prevent students from learning.
