The Russian Foreign Ministry was told about the meeting with the Charge d'Affaires of Israel

"Vershinin stressed that in Moscow they regarded as irresponsible and unfriendly actions of the Air Force of Israel, as a result of which the Russian airplane Il-20 was delivered to the Syrian air defense and 15 Russian servicemen were killed," the ministry said.

The Foreign Ministry promised that the Russian side would take all measures to protect its military in Syria.

Earlier it was reported that Keren Cohen-Ghat arrived in the Foreign Ministry to discuss the situation with the shot down in Syria IL-20. The diplomat did not comment on the meeting.
