"The laser has many uses in dentistry, such as surgery and root therapy," said Abdullah Shuaib, executive director of Germaine Med. "We offer an apple on how the laser works.

Shuaib explained that laser has many advantages, for example:

  • In surgery, it is used to cut tissue without bleeding, because it cuts, wicks and closes the wound at the same time.
  • In the treatment of roots (treatment of the tooth nerve) sterilizes the root canal.
  • In the treatment of gums used to supply the gums, ie remove the dark layer of them, to grow their place for pink gums.

Shuaib made a presentation using the laser, where he made pieces of apple fruit, and before the operation of the device wore a special glasses to protect the eyes from laser beams, indicating that the patient in the clinic also to wear this glasses as well as the nurse help.

An electronic needle was also introduced to inject the drug into the dental treatment, which is characterized as not causing pain to the patient during the injection.

The first biomedical conference on orthodontics was concluded on Saturday with the participation of 160 participants from 50 countries.
