Queen Rania Al Abdullah, wife of King Abdullah II of Jordan, on Monday launched an electronic platform in Arabic that allows students to use interactive digital tools for school learning.

And "Adraq" is an Arab platform for collective open source courses established in 2014 by the Queen Rania Foundation for Education and Development, which is keen to make all efforts and endeavors that contribute to putting the Arab world at the forefront in the field of education.

In a speech at the launch ceremony, Queen Rania expressed her hope for the availability of free Arabic content for quality education.

The e-learning platform provides free e-learning materials for students and teachers in Arabic. Parents will also benefit from supporting their children.

The math teacher at the "Perak" platform hoped that she would benefit from the platform by creating virtual classes for students, where she would put an educational material that the student would see before coming to school to create his own knowledge.

The platform will continue to offer videos and tutorials on topics ranging from mathematics to English, all of which are free to users.

It also aims to provide education to students who have dropped out of education because of conflicts and instability in their country by providing learning resources without the need to connect to the Internet at all times.

Two UN agencies in 2015 said worsening conflict, poverty and gender discrimination in the Middle East and North Africa is pushing 21 million children and adolescents out of education.
