According to him, their victory in the elections in the first round is a success, which is only the beginning of a serious and big work, TASS reports.
"Please, as soon as possible, get involved in the work," said the head of state.
As Putin pointed out, the last elections show that Russians "support the trend for renewal."
"And your teams should be formed primarily on the basis of common values and goals, rather than political views or some party preferences and party affiliation," he added.
On September 9, direct elections of the heads of 22 subjects were held in Russia, as well as elections of deputies of legislative bodies in 16 regions.
Later, Putin expressed his gratitude to Russian citizens for their active participation in the elections.
The president stressed that the election campaign in Russia was organized in a decent and orderly manner.
