It is noted that this decision was supported by 57 parliamentarians with 47 necessary.

"Establish a moratorium on the public use of the Russian-language cultural product in any form on the territory of the Lviv region until the time of the complete cessation of the occupation of the territory of Ukraine," the decision states.

It is specified that the deputies also instructed to set up an interdepartmental working group that will conduct systematic explanatory talks about the moratorium with the population and legal entities.

The channel also added that the executive apparatus of the regional council intends to work out an appeal to the Verkhovna Rada on the need to amend the legislative base of Ukraine regarding the prohibition of public reproduction of audiovisual works in Russian.

Earlier it was reported that in Ukraine the city council of the Dnieper would consider a proposal to ban songs of Russian performers on the territory of the city.
