General Ahmed Gaïd Salah remains his Deputy Minister of Defense and Chief of Staff.

In total, six ministers retain their posts, such as Veterans Affairs and Imane-Houda Feraoun, the Minister of Telecommunications.

Among the new, some are actually from the world of business, including that of Culture, who is the director of a publishing house in Constantine.

There was no government since March 11 and the announcement of President Bouteflika, who renounced a fifth term. The head of state then instructed Noureddine Bedoui and Ramtane Lamamra to appoint a new government of technocrats, with young people and women. The promise is only half kept.
