The head of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Dr. Mohammad Matar Al Kaabi, revealed that the committees formed by the Commission to develop the curricula of Islamic education in schools have completed their work, stressing the printing of some textbooks, after reviewing the curricula prescribed for school classes.
Al-Kaabi said in response to questions by the members of the Federal National Council last weekend that the new curriculum focuses on building the moderate Muslim civil personality, which is linked to the rulers and has loyalty to the country, pointing out that the Authority is preparing for new cooperation and partnership with the Ministry of Education And educating teachers.
He also revealed the efforts of the Commission to support family stability and face the phenomenon of high divorce cases. Al-Kaabi stated that there are parties responsible for this file, but the Commission supports these bodies with 432 thousand lessons on family preaching. Al-Kaabi noted that the lessons and speeches issued by the Commission bear Compassionate meanings that include tolerance and compassion, pointing out that the body cooperates with more than 22 countries in the world to spread tolerance.
The inauguration of the Foundation for Islamic Culture and Religious Tolerance in Spain aims to consolidate moderation through the institution's approach to eliminating any misconceptions or extremism. He pointed out that the Authority carries out about 972 Ramadan activities annually, as part of the program of the guests of His Highness the President of the State during the month of Ramadan, and offers 235 lessons in the field of forensic science.
Al-Kaabi emphasized the allocation of the second category of the preaching plan in favor of initiatives to develop religious awareness among the citizens of the state, while we directed the third category of the preaching plan for the benefit of community awareness.
