Al-Shehhi explained that the most age groups caught driving vehicles ranged from 18 to 30 years, while drivers who booked their vehicles for six months reported that they spent between 100 and 120 thousand dirhams to make fundamental changes in the engines of their vehicles.

He pointed out that some young people provided their vehicles to produce a loud voice while maintaining the speed of the legal vehicle, while some of them made substantial changes in the vehicles to increase speed and noise.

Al-Shehhi added that the major changes in the vehicles include the addition of the Hyders and the Filter to increase the engine's sound, the Supercharged to increase the power of the vehicle from 200 to 400 hp, and the addition of the turbo to increase the speed of the vehicle to a maximum. Is a danger to the safety of its driver and road users.

He pointed out that the young men's operations within the engines of their vehicles is not visible to others, but they expose them when the sound of noise during the driving of the vehicle at an illegal speed.

He added that the Ras Al Khaimah Police organizes continuous campaigns to control the vehicles and bicycles provided, conducts inspection campaigns on the workshops to control and confiscate the equipment and punish the violating workshops, as well as traffic awareness campaigns targeting the road users to educate them about the dangers of supplying the vehicles, pointing out cooperation with the Department of Economic Development in Ras Al Khaimah to intensify Inspections against owners of educational workshops to prevent them from providing any vehicle or making any modification without permission from the licensing authority so as not to expose themselves to legal accountability.

Traffic patrols seized 186 vehicles from January to November 1 last year and seized 201 vehicles with substantial modifications in their engines to cause noise, said Major Rashid Hamid Khalifa Bin Hendi, head of traffic and traffic control at Ajman Police.

He pointed out that some of the seized vehicles do not exceed the price of 60 thousand dirhams, while the value of changes and modifications in the engine to 150 thousand dirhams, while the age groups that were seized while driving vehicles ranged between the ages of 18 to 23 years.
