Facebook is developing a new application targeted at young users who leave their social network for other more attractive applications such as Snape Chat, Entrecam and Tuck, according to Web sites.

Several sources told TechCrunch, a technology specialist, to develop the world's largest social network, a new application called LOL that allows users to share short videos.

The new application includes labels such as "you", "animals", "failures" and "dumps", which Facebook uses on its current social network.

A hundred high school students test the application in secret, and sources from the company's specialized site confirmed the information on testing this application on a small group of users in the United States.

It remains unclear whether this app will replace the Watch tab on the Facebook app or it will be an independent application.

Teenagers are getting out of Facebook and going to networks that offer stories like Instagram and Snape Chat.

Despite Facebook's attempts to return them to its network by launching applications such as Facebook and Sling Shot, it has not yet succeeded.

Will the "LOL" succeed while these applications fail?
