An investigation is underway on suspicion of violating the law, and the city is also investigating whether there were any problems with the contract procedure by interviewing officials of the city who were seconded to the organizing committee.



Regarding this, Governor Koike said at the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly on the 7th, ``With the cooperation of the liquidation corporation of the Organizing Committee, we are checking related documents and interviewing staff dispatched to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. We will also consider interviews, ”he said, revealing his intention to proceed with the investigation by considering expanding the scope of interviews to people other than Tokyo officials.
