As the temperature in the mountains gradually rises, the summer pastures with higher altitudes have become a good place for cattle and sheep to cool off in the summer.
In early summer, the "migratory army" marching on the winding mountain road has become a flowing landscape on the grassland.
The local herdsmen change their farms twice a year, bringing their daily necessities and rushing herds of cattle and sheep along the Qilian Mountains from winter and spring pastures to summer pastures one after another.
In summer, the pasture is rich in water and grass and has a pleasant climate, and a large number of livestock will graze here for about 90 days.
The nomadic people switch fields according to the seasons, which not only allows the herds to enjoy delicious and sufficient pasture, but also allows the grasslands to recuperate due to the temporary departure of the herds.
