This year, Ramadan and Lent coincided.
These periods of fasting are conducive to meetings.
It is in this context that the Malian journalist and blogger
Georges Attino
had the idea of creating a series of videos:
J'irai suntigè chez vous
.
The project materialized with Désiré Fialley, Dani Oron and recently Ousmane Makaveli.
The result are quality videos shot with a digital reflex, to meet the communities of Mali and their traditions, particularly culinary, from Bamako to Timbuktu.
In
The Media Workshop
, Georges Attino explains the ambition of this editorial approach, by Malians for Malians in Mali and in the diaspora, waiting for videos "made in Mali" carrying a "different narrative".
