At Koiwai Farm in Shizukuishi Town, Iwate Prefecture, the cherry blossoms known as "Ippon Sakura" are in full bloom.

"Ipponzakura" at Koiwai Farm in Shizukuishi Town, which is one of the leading tourist spots in Iwate Prefecture, is an Edohigan cherry tree that is said to have been planted in the 40's of the Meiji era.



It started to bloom on April 23 and was in full bloom on 27th, and visitors were taking pictures.



At Koiwai Farm, Yoshino cherry trees were in full bloom on the 26th at the Uemaru cowshed, and the cherry blossom trees along the prefectural road on the premises are in full bloom. Was often seen.



A visitor from Saitama Prefecture said, "The contrast between the pink of cherry blossoms, the green of grassland and Mt. Iwate is wonderful."



Hiromi Nozawa, director of the Koiwai Farm Museum, said, "Sakura is beautiful, but I want you to enjoy the scenery with Mt. Iwate and cows."



Somei Yoshino cherry trees at Koiwai Farm can be enjoyed until this weekend, so "Ippon Sakura" will continue to be in full bloom until next week.
