Tanga Market is a market that was built in the Taisho era about 100 years ago, and is popular as the "citizen's kitchen" in Kitakyushu.

On the other hand, as the buildings are aging, Kitakyushu City is planning to divide the market into four sections and proceed with redevelopment in order to solve the disaster prevention issues.
