The animals were taken outside and given oxygen. According to the information, the two cats recovered and were therefore successfully rescued. The fire department was called out because a fire had broken out in a third-floor apartment in the city of Bolzano. The flames were quickly extinguished, but heavy smoke spread throughout the apartment. The firefighters found two cats lying on the floor with no signs of life.
