Drones will significantly increase the effectiveness of fire extinguishing, experts agree. In Belgorod region, it is planned to launch production of the Dragonfly firefighting drone.
An experimental model of the device will be presented to the general public this summer. The project is supported by the National Technology Initiative (NTI). The UAV will carry the hydrant and powder cylinders. According to the developer, “Dragonfly” minimizes risks for rescuers.. The use of AI (artificial intelligence) and drone self-learning systems to develop its own understanding of how to react to individual fire incidents.
