On the evening of April 9, in Xihuan Village, Mianshan Town, Jiexiu City, Shanxi Province, a pregnant cow accidentally fell into a quagmire, with only its head and back exposed.
Since the cow weighed about 1,000 pounds and was frightened, there was no stress point nearby. The firemen of Jiexiu Financial Road Fire and Rescue Station skillfully used pulleys, ropes, flat belts, sliding chains, wooden sticks and other tools to kneel in the mud to continue the rescue. More than two hours later, the cow was successfully rescued.
