Airports, wharves, railway stations and expressways will all carry out nucleic acid and antigen test results inspections for people leaving Shanghai.
For those unable to provide relevant certification materials for nucleic acid and antigen testing, they will be persuaded to return on the spot and not allowed to leave Shanghai.
In the follow-up, relevant measures will be dynamically adjusted according to the development of the epidemic and the requirements of prevention and control.
According to reports, Shanghai added 358 local confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia and 4,144 local asymptomatic infections on March 31.
330 confirmed cases and 434 local asymptomatic infections were found in nucleic acid screening of relevant risk groups.
Since March 28, Shanghai has carried out nucleic acid screening in Pudong, Punan and adjacent areas.
Wu Jinglei said on the same day that according to the screening results, Shanghai will implement step-by-step management and control in accordance with the principles of zoning, classification and grid management.
Pudong, Punan and adjacent areas are divided into closed control areas, control areas and prevention areas, and dynamic adjustments are implemented.
The closed control area implements "regional closure, staying at home, and door-to-door services"; the control area implements "people do not leave the community, and gatherings are strictly prohibited"; the prevention area implements "strengthen social control and strictly limit the scale of people gathering".
