The first preferential tax policy for offshore trade is piloted in Shanghai. Sales contracts signed by enterprises registered in the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone and Lingang New Area for offshore resale business will be exempted from stamp duty.Benefiting from the preferential stamp duty exemption policy, companies are expected to enjoy tax benefits of about 8 million yuan a year."This pilot is an exploration and breakthrough in the offshore trade tax system," said Wang Ai, member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of Pudong New Area Taxation Bureau.
