The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has begun publishing a list of more than 1000 medical institutions that examine people suspected of being infected with the new coronavirus, and those who wish to receive a medical examination can now directly search for and make reservations.

The list is published on the website of the city at 1116 out of about 3800 medical institutions in Tokyo that have "fever outpatient clinics" to examine people who are suspected of being infected.

The list includes consultation hours, available foreign languages, and whether pregnant women and children are also accepted.

Until now, the city has not published such a list because of the flood of patients and the damage caused by rumors.

Those who wish to have a medical examination should call the fever consultation center in Tokyo to find out the nearest medical institution where the fever outpatient department is located.

However, due to a series of voices saying that the fever consultation center could not be reached during the 5th wave of the rapid spread of the infection, we announced the medical institutions that gave their consent for the first time.

Now, people who want to see a doctor can search directly based on the list and make a reservation, and the city says, "People who have symptoms of concern should actively use it."
