The signing activity is carried out by lawyer Kenji Utsunomiya on an online signing site called "Change.org" from noon on the 5th.
Among these, if the five organizations related to the Tokyo Games, such as the national government and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, are held while the spread of infection does not stop, there will be a disparity in preparation among athletes, and the medical field in Japan that will be exhausted by the corona disaster will be created. To further suffer, we are requesting that the Tokyo Games be canceled in order to protect lives and livelihoods.
The number of signatures was 206,000 as of 3:00 pm on the 7th, and according to the site management organization, it is the earliest 20 of the 8200 signature activities that have been carried out since the opening of the Japanese version in 2012. It means that it has exceeded 10,000 people.
The collected signatures will be submitted to Tokyo next week.
