Now, people who get vaccinated against Covid-19 are assigned a QR code.

If, for the moment, this proof is of no practical use, it may possibly be requested after the reopening of certain places open to the public on June 9.

Nearly 16.5 million French people have now received a first injection of vaccine, and the government intends to reach the mark of 20 million primary vaccines within ten days.

On Saturday, the vaccination campaign was opened to all adults suffering from obesity or chronic disease.

And since Monday, all people vaccinated against Covid-19 have received a certificate, which marks a first step towards the health pass.

Vaccination now entitles you to a QR code printed on a sheet of paper, which you can then scan with your phone to store it in the Tous AntiCovid application.

For vaccinated people whose injection is older, this certificate can be retrieved on the Internet from the second half of May.

Proof required in certain public places from June 9?

For now, this pass is not yet very useful, but from June 9, it may be required to participate in cultural events, sports or fairs of more than 5,000 people.

Moreover, it is also a first step in the implementation of the digital green certificate voted by the European Parliament at the end of April.

It will not be compulsory to go on vacation this summer, but it should still facilitate intra-European travel.
