Emirates Today (on January 31) published the story of the elderly patient’s suffering, and her inability to obtain the amount of her treatment and the medication she needs, given the difficult financial conditions she is going through.

Adla’s daughter said: “We thank the donor for his generous donation, and his noble stance to help my sick mother pay for her treatment for a year. This is not strange for the people of the state and their support for the needy, especially the sick, as my joy and the joy of my family are great, because my mother will complete her treatment.”

She added: “The phone call I received from the employees of the (Hotline), in (Emirates Today), and telling them to take care of the treatment of my elderly mother for a year, make me happy and my mother and my family members happy. The patient’s daughter had previously told Emirates Today: “My mother suffered several chronic diseases a few years ago, and she was diagnosed in Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi as suffering from diabetes, cholesterol, heart problems, osteoporosis, tooth and jaw erosion, and health problems in The eyes, what caused her not to see well, and she had a health insurance card, but after the death of my father, and the decline in the monthly source of income, we were unable to renew the card. ”

The patient’s daughter indicated that her family consists of her mother and four daughters, adding: “I was the only provider for my family members, but a short time ago I was suspended from work due to the Corona pandemic .. without a salary.”

The patient suffers from several chronic diseases, including diabetes and heart disease.
