British MPs call on their government to resume funding for UNRWA. More than 50 representatives in the United Kingdom from various parties in the country called on the British government to restore its funding.

They also called for clarification of the reasons for suspending funding. The United Kingdom and many Western countries suspended their funding after Israeli allegations accused employees of the UN agency of involvement in the attack on Israeli settlements in the Gaza Strip on October 7th. The UN agency was established by a resolution of the United Nations General Assembly in 1949. Its work aims to reach a just solution to the refugee tragedy.
