Only one in a thousand people who dies becomes an organ donor in Germany. Only 15 percent of all organ donors in Germany are completely in the background compared to other causes such as cerebral hemorrhage or a stroke. Compared to the EU, Germany is in a poor position in terms of organ donation, rather than a good one.
