A new measure to try to limit the rapid spread of the virus.

A week after the entry into force of the new confinement, the prefect of Loire-Atlantique announced this Thursday evening that he had signed a decree prohibiting the sale of take-out alcohol as well as its consumption in public space from 10 p.m.

The measure, which applies to all municipalities in Loire-Atlantique, is to come into force on Friday evening.

"A number of elected officials told me that despite the closure of bars, there was alcohol consumption with groups in public space," explains Didier Martin.

And especially around supermarkets or grocery stores at late hours.

Containment generally well respected

Apart from these phenomena of gatherings, confinement seems generally well respected in the territory.

“The first checks show that people have understood the principle of certificates, Judge Didier Martin.

We did not find any blatant abuse.
