Tokyo's own travel assistance From 24th onwards For Tokyo residents traveling in Tokyo October 9th 17:46

The subsidy project that the Tokyo Metropolitan Government will independently carry out when the citizens of Tokyo travel in Tokyo will start for trips after the 24th of this month.

To restore the tourism industry, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government will independently subsidize 5,000 yen per person per night when traveling in Tokyo and 2,500 yen for day trips.

The capital will start this project for travel after the 24th of this month.

Reservations can be made from the 23rd of the previous day, and citizens of Tokyo can purchase travel products with discounted subsidies.

Initially, we planned to target only products handled by travel agencies, but we will also include cases where hotels and inns accept reservations directly, taking into account requests from the accommodation industry group.

For travel that accompanies accommodation, travel of 9000 yen or more when used in combination with the national "Go To Travel" and 6000 yen or more when not used together is a condition to receive subsidy.

On the other hand, from the 23rd of this month, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government will sell 10,000 yen worth of gift certificates that can be used only in the islands for 8,000 yen, and will strengthen support for travel to the islands.
