The firefighters were alerted around 4:45 am of a fire in a restaurant located at 167, promenade des Flots Bleues, in the port of Saint-Laurent-du-Var (Alpes-Maritimes).
Six vehicles and 23 firefighters were mobilized to fight against the flames which, upon their arrival, had already spread throughout the establishment.
Despite their intervention, the fire quickly spread to two neighboring restaurants.
