Figures released Monday by Public Health France show an increase in the epidemic.

The test positivity rate is still increasing (6.1%), and with 68 more deaths in 24 hours, the total death toll stands at 31,416 victims.

4,244 Covid-19 patients have been hospitalized over the last seven days, and 651 are in intensive care.

The positivity rate (proportion of the number of positive people compared to the total number of people tested) increased to 6.1% (compared to 5.9% the day before).

France once again exceeds the threshold of 10,000 contaminations (10,008) with Covid-19 in 24 hours.

The positivity rate increased for the fourth day in a row, according to data released Tuesday by Public Health France.

4,244 Covid patients were hospitalized over the last seven days, or 141 more compared to the figures announced the day before, including 651 in intensive care (+13 compared to the day before), said the public health service.

Since the start of the epidemic, at least 31,416 Covid-related deaths have been recorded in France, 68 more than the day before, including 20,845 in hospitals.
