A 3-year-old boy from Yunnan was taken away while playing on the roadside. The father of the child: the incident occurred only 300 meters away from home

　　The Beijing News (Reporter Liu Mingyang and Sun Zhao) On August 23, a 3-year-old boy in Yongsheng County, Yunnan, was taken away by passers-by while playing on the roadside. The child’s father, Mr. Feng, told the Beijing News reporter that someone saw the child being taken away by a Sichuan-licensed vehicle because there was no surveillance around it and he did not know the license plate of the vehicle in question. At present, the police are further investigating and setting up blocking cards to find the boy.

　　Mr. Feng told the Beijing News reporter that he and his wife went to work on the morning of the incident and the child was looked after by Mr. Feng’s mother. In the morning, Mr. Feng's mother took the children to herd cattle. During the period, the cattle ran far to chase the cattle, leaving the child to play on the roadside.

　　Mr. Feng said that there was no surveillance around the location of the incident and he did not know what happened at the time. "Someone on the roadside told me that the person who got on a Sichuan-licensed car took the child away, but did not see the license plate number clearly, and the incident was only 300 meters away from my home."

　　In response to the above incident, two merchants around the location of the incident said that they had heard of the incident and did not notice a Sichuan-licensed car passing by on the day of the incident.

　　According to the Yongsheng County Public Security Bureau, at 10:34 on August 23, the Yongsheng County Public Security Bureau received a report saying that a boy who was playing near the driving test center on Dongchang Road, Yongbei Town, Yongsheng County was arrested. The woman riding in the small white car picked it up and took it away. Subsequently, the Yongsheng County police started work to find the boy.

　　The boy’s parents, grandfather and grandma told the police that the boy who was taken away was about 3 years old. He was wearing yellow horizontal striped clothes with a white bottom and white wick (grass) velvet pants on the bottom.

　　A reporter from the Beijing News learned from the Yongsheng County Public Security Bureau Command Center that as of about 11:30 on August 24, the police were still investigating the matter, setting up blocking cards, conducting investigations, and personnel verification.
