1-year-old boy dies; truck driver arrested on suspicion of hit-and-run Saitama Higashimatsuyama. Police say a 58- year-old truck driver hit and killed the boy who was on the road.
The person arrested was Katsumi Kamata (58), a truck driver from Ebina City, Kanagawa Prefecture. In response to police investigation, he denied the charges, saying, ''I bumped into something, but I didn't think it was a person.''
