[Explanation] Hengqin Port is a landmark project of infrastructure interconnection between the Mainland and Macau, and it is also a bridgehead for the Guangdong-Macao in-depth cooperation demonstration zone. At 10 o'clock on the same day, representatives of the Zhuhai Sea Inspection Station and the Macao Public Security Police Bureau saluted and shook hands at the Zhuhai-Macao boundary, opening a new history of cooperative law enforcement at the Hengqin Port. The border police of both sides were in their respective jobs and completed the simulated customs clearance exercise together. Some personnel were also arranged to simulate passengers to experience the various hardware facilities that will be put into use.

For customs clearance, the procedures for both mainland and Australia only require passengers to line up once, then swipe their documents once, and complete the customs clearance once.

According to reports, the border inspection departments of Guangdong and Macao have made full use of their geographical advantages to build inspection facilities along a dividing line, simplify inspection links, and implement a new side inspection mode of "cooperative inspection, one-time release". The border inspection police of both sides carry out law enforcement on both sides of the border between China and Australia. Different types of passengers pass through the three different inspection channels of “cooperative self-help, cooperative labor and traditional labor” respectively, and complete the entry and exit procedures of both sides at one time.
