Hengqin Port passenger and truck combined one-stop lane is launched. There are 15 entry and exit lanes each, with a designed daily customs clearance volume of 16,000 vehicles.
This is another convenient measure implemented after the Hengq in Guangdong-Macao Deep Cooperation Zone was closed and put into operation. The system enables customs clearance vehicles to be queued up, collected and released once in the same lane. "It only takes a minute or two to cross the border now, which is very fast," says truck driver.
