The integration process of Hengqin Guangdong and Macao Deep Cooperation Zone has reached a new level. The "four new" industries have cultivated new momentum for high-quality development.
As of the end of last year, there were 5,952 Macao-invested enterprises in the Cooperation Zone, a year-on-year increase of 11.8%. The number of Macao residents working and living in the cooperation zone reached 11,500, an increase of more than 70%. The cooperation zone covering an area of 106 square kilometers is focusing on multiple bridges, tunnels and rail transit projects.
