An emergency air ambulance was flown to the emergency and public safety department by another ambulance crew after being injured in a collision that took place today between a truck and a light bus on the truck road before the Ajban bridge towards al-Faye. They were taken to Rahba Hospital for treatment.
The Director of the Department of Traffic of the External Areas in the Directorate of Traffic and Patrol Abu Dhabi Police Brigadier Salim bin Barak Al-Dhahiri, that preliminary investigations attributed the causes of the accident to the wrong rotation and the lack of commitment of the heavy truck driver to the line.
Al-Dhaheri called on motorists and road users to take caution, adhere to the traffic line, avoid deviation, adhere to scheduled speeds and not be preoccupied with the road.
The command and control center in Abu Dhabi Police Central Operations Department received a report on the incident and the Abu Dhabi Police Authority secured the site and planned the incident.
