Agreement with Canal+

“We have a distribution agreement with Canal+ but we want to integrate all French distributors to have the widest possible distribution,” explained Raffaele Annecchino, CEO of ViacomCBS Networks International to the economic daily.

Thanks to this agreement, Canal+ will be able to continue broadcasting Paramount films as well as certain series from the Showtime channel.

The French encrypted channel will be able to offer this content before Paramount + at first.

No extra cost with the Canal+ Ciné Séries offer

This SVoD service will be offered at launch at no additional cost to Canal+ subscribers benefiting from the Canal+ Ciné Séries offer.

This is offered at the price of 35 euros per month, or 20 euros for young people under 26 years old.

"Paramount is Hollywood's most iconic studio.

And Paramount + is one of the essential platforms on the market, said Maxime Saada, chairman of the executive board of the Canal + group, with Les

Echos

.

We want to partner with those who will win the battle because not everyone will win.

And they want to partner with us.
