British archaeologists have discovered the remains of a man who lived nearly two thousand years ago and was the victim of a "mysterious" murder.

British newspaper "Daily Mail" reported that experts found the skeleton of an adult man, near Willowick Farm, near the city of Windover, Buckinghamshire, and it was found that he had buried a dump on his face, with his hands tied.

Archaeologists say that the exact age of the victim is still unknown, but experts believe that the remains of at least two thousand years.

Archaeologist Rachel Wood stated that "the death of a person near Willoweek Farm remains a mystery to us, but there are not many ways for someone to end up at the bottom of a hole and face down, with two hands tied."

The scientist, however, expressed her hope that the experts could shed more light on the story of this man's mysterious ending.
