On July 23, affected by continuous heavy rainfall, more than 1,000 people were still besieged by the flood in Qiandaoxiang Village and Houdaoxiang Village, Andu Township, Weihui City, Xinxiang, Henan Province, waiting for rescue.
100 officers and soldiers of the Xinxiang Detachment of the Henan Armed Police Corps participated in the rescue. In order to improve the rescue efficiency, the officers and soldiers took the power boat bridge to rescue and transfer the trapped people through the rain in the disaster center village.
During the rescue, the water depth reached two or three meters, and the current was rushing. The officers and soldiers were intensively rescued with the assistance of large-scale equipment.
As of 14:00 on July 23, the officers and soldiers of the Xinxiang Detachment of the Armed Police Force had been fighting for more than 20 hours, helping more than 700 trapped people, and more than 5,000 people besieged by the flood had been safely transferred under the rescue of various rescue forces.
