Several countries will send soldiers to France to help secure the Olympic Games. “Several foreign nations will strengthen us in certain critical areas, such as dog capabilities, where the needs are enormous” during the Olympics, according to the French Ministry of the Armed Forces.

Poland has offered 40 police officers and 13 dog crews. Germany has already indicated that it will send police officers to the Olympics. Nearly 45,000 police officers, gendarmes and soldiers will be mobilized in Ile-de-France.
