Gazprom Neft discovered a new field in the Tashlinsky district of the Orenburg region - while drilling a prospecting and appraisal well in the Solnechny licensed area, the company received a free flow of oil with a flow rate of over 490 cubic meters per day, ”the company said in a statement.
The geological reserves of the field are 53 million tons of oil equivalent.
Earlier, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said that oil production and exports in the country in January remain approximately at the December level.
