Protests The truck drivers of the strike are left alone, but they force the Government to make a move
The Platform for the Defense of Road Transport, the association that has called for the mobilization of self-employed truckers and SMEs starting next Monday the 14th, is meeting with the Ministry of Transport to find a solution to their demands.
The management of the platform has been urgently summoned this morning by the department headed by Ráquel Sánches.
Since Monday when they announced them,
the organizers of the strikes had seen how all the employers' associations in the sector, plus the national ones such as CEOE or Cepyme or the self-employed workers of ATA, had refused to join the mobilizations,
since they arrive at a critical moment and would suppose a greater punishment for companies and families.
In addition, they pointed out that they would also harm the sector.
Also during the March protests, the platform was left alone in demanding its demands.
But it managed to cause significant damage to distribution until, due to the exhaustion of the truck drivers themselves and after the approval of various measures in favor of the sector, they ceased their protests at the beginning of April.
However, and with the experience that the problems were repeated, the Government was forced to make a move.
